Delete your MyEverheart account
Your data is yours. You can delete it any time.
This page explains how to permanently delete your MyEverheart account (developer: Zabotta Inc.) and the data associated with it, exactly what is removed, and the small amount we are legally required to retain.

Option 1: Delete from within the app
Steps
1. Open the MyEverheart app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Under Danger zone, tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Your account and data are permanently deleted right away, and you are signed out.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email support@myeverheart.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account.” We’ll verify that the request comes from you and delete your account and data within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
• Your profile: name and email address.
• Every message and letter you created, including scheduled and locked ones.
• All photos and videos you uploaded.
• All voice recordings and their transcripts.
• Milestones and any family-member details you added.
• Your app-activity, diagnostics, and device identifiers tied to your account.
• Your login credentials.
If you own your family vault: deleting your account also deletes the entire vault, meaning all of the above for every member of that vault. If other members still use the vault as their own home, only your personal content is removed and the shared vault remains for them.
What we keep, and for how long
Your content is removed from our live systems immediately. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
We retain only the minimum required by law (for example, transaction and tax records, or information needed to prevent fraud and abuse) and only for the period applicable law requires. This data is never used for any other purpose.
A note about subscriptions
If you have a paid subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing handled by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription in the store you purchased it from before deleting your account.
